                                                           Daisy: Damsel in Distress

The sun shone from a clear sky, illuminating the pristine waters of the lake below. Only one person was present to view this perfect little scene, someone who had found the law after hiking all morning, lugging her camping supplies with her. It was such a perfect little site that she resolved to camp there, though it was but a little before noon.
Princess Daisy was on vacation. She would go to no resort, to be pampered like a doll and laze around in absolute boredom. She had endured Isle Delfino and its tedium before, but no more. The Princess of Sarasaland was no girly-girl, she had been kidnapped only once and was quite proud of it. No, she was going to go somewhere where she could find an adventure and relaxation in good measure, and had resolved to go to Dinosaur Land, a paradise littered with exotic creatures, scenic locales, and tropical sunshine.
This morning Daisy had resolved to backpack into the Forest of Mystery and camp inside as she spent a couple of days hiking through it. The forest was aptly named: mysterious and deceptive, populated by odd creatures, though none that should prove dangerous to the multi-sport athlete. She had a good map and managed to fix her bearings well, and eventually found the lake.
"This is perfect!" she said to no-one in particular, and set up camp, consisting of a pup-tent and an inflatable chair. She gathered a bit of firewood for later, then inflated a small water mattress, wanting to float out on the lake and sunbathe. Confident in her solitude, Daisy openly changed into her bathing suit, a pleasant two-piece in her preferred colors: goldenrod and sienna. Her perfect figure was revealed thus: petite yet curvy, toned with a tiny hint of muscle, and a head of lustrous brown hair that reached to her shoulders. She cast out well into the lake on her mattress and floated serenely, sunning herself. She floated there for a time, gently relaxed by the sunshine and steady undulation of the water. Her hike that morning had been hard, and this lake was so peaceful that she drifted off to sleep, looking like the picture of serenity as she lay sprawled on the mattress, her brown hair almost serving as a pillow.
But the lake was merely a waypoint in a larger waterway. A stream fed water in, and water went out via a larger stream. As she floated on her inflatable mattress, the current slowly nudged the unwitting Princess to the far end of the lake, then out onto the stream. There she floated faster with the current, but it was a steady ride and she did not awaken as she was sent away from her camp and deep into the Forest of Mystery. Finally the stream took a sharp bend, and she finally ran aground on a sandy bank. The sudden stop was enough to awaken her.
"Where am I?" Daisy said aloud, noticing that trees were overhead. She reached out and touched the sand, then rolled over and stood. "Did I float downriver off the lake?" She looked at the stream, and assumed that was the case. She stood for a moment, assessing the situation. "Cool!" she said, eyes widening, "this vacation's getting fun!" With that, Daisy eagerly trod off, following the stream to get back to her site again.
She must have gone pretty far, she realized, as the sun moved westward. It would set in a couple of hours, but it was high dinner time, as her stomach readily reminded her. Hunger dulled the edge of her adventurous spirit. "Ugh," Daisy complained, "how far did I float?" She cast around and spotted a fruit tree, not too tall, but tall enough for the ripe red fruit to be inaccessible, and with a smooth trunk wider than Daisy's body by a good stretch. She thrust herself at the tree, but could not ascend it. "Hmm," she said contemplatively. "How do I get this fruit?"
Kaa was waking up from his slumber when he heard a rustling sound. He thought it might be dinner so he went down to the ground toward the bush that had rustled. He waited, but then a bird flew out of the other side of the bush and he was to tired to chase it. Kaa hated losing prey, and waking up usually wasn't fun either. He slumped back down to the ground and went off to find some food. He slithered around for a while in the dimming light, to an area filled with many friut trees, but he stopped when he heard a grunt. He then heard frustrated grunting and mumbling and followed the sound to the nearby stream. Peeking through the bushes, he saw a girl in a small swimsuit trying to reach a fruit in a tree. He snickered, thinking to himself "heh heh, perfect, dinner and some entertainment." He climbed a nearby tree and went over to the tree that the girl was trying to reach. He hid himself in the leaves, when the girl was between jumps, he used his tail and plucked the fruit right from the branch, he thought about eating it because he was so hungry, but decided it would be useful. When the girl did not see the fruit anymore, Kaa dropped down, his head and tail hanging from the branch. "Hello there, and what might your name be?" he said teasingly as he waved the fruit around with his tail.
The adventurous Daisy was not fazed by the appearance of the serpent above. Indeed she was rather thrilled, since people came to Dinosaur Land for the purpose of seeing strange, giant reptiles.
"Hi, I'm Daisy!" she said cheerfully. She eyed the succulent fruit clasped in the serpent's tail just out of reach. "Hey, were you going to eat that... er..." she hesitated, "what was your name?"
Kaa smiled as he answered her question "Hmm, I ssssuppose not" he said as he tossed her the fruit. "My name isss Kaa, now tell me, little one, why are you here?"
"Thanks," Daisy said, taking a large bite out of the fruit and chewing messily. "I'm here on vacation," Daisy replied eventually, not losing a step. "I just... got a little lost, that's all."
"Well then, you are rather far from any otherssss, but i can help you get back to where you are going" Kaa said as he saw Daisy devour the fruit, he wondered how on earth she could have gotten near his area of the forest. He said "Are you camping with ssssome friendssss perhapsss."
"Nope!" Daisy replied cheerily, taking another bite. "I've been hiking by myself since dawn. I must've fallen asleep and drifted down the river. Crazy stuff happens in this forest, huh?"
"Yesss, quite" Kaa said "many ssstrange thingss. Do you want sssome company or ssome help finding your way back then?"
Daisy finished the fruit and tossed the core aside, belching roundly in a manner utterly unbecoming a girl of her station. "Nah," she replied, already growing bored with the strange snake due to her uncommonly short attention span, "all I have to do is follow the creek to get back. Thanks for the fruit!" She waved, then turned to leave.
Kaa did not appreciate being waved off. He went back into the tree and went in from of her, dropping down again. "But misss, there are ssssuch dangersss out there."
A vague suspicion started to sprout in Daisy's mind, but she shook it off, brushing the intrusive snake's head away from her. "I haven't seen anything too dangerous yet," Daisy said confidently. "I'll be fine."
Kaa thought about his options for few seconds.  She kept walking away and he decided that it was useless to try and persuade her with just words.  He went back into the branches once again and over Daisy's head.  He swung his tail down and scooped her up into the air, coiling it twice around her stomach.
Daisy was shocked when she felt the cold, sinewy tendril wrap around her midsection, but she did not remain disoriented for long. "Hey! Put me down!" she shouted combatively, trying to wedge her hands underneath the coil to pry it free.
Kaa wrapped his tail around her hands as well.  He could feel her hands still wiggling around under his grip, trying to break free.  He put his head a couple of feet away from hers, looking at her.  "Now, now there misss, calm youssself, come back with me, we can find your camp in the morning."
Daisy could not entirely place it, but there was something she didn't like about about Kaa's large, yellow eyes. She twisted her head away from his gaze, scrunching her eyes shut. "Ugh," she grunted, "let me go!"
Kaa was not one to let go of prey, and one girl would not concuer him.  "Sssshhh now, Daissssy, lissssten to reason, look at me, don't be afraid." Kaa coiled more of his body around her, prepared to use other means on persuasion if necessary.
The last thing Daisy wanted to do was look into those eyes, and Kaa's actions were only affirming her suspicions. "No, I won't look! Put me down!" she repeated.
"Now, now Daisssy please, LOOOOK" he said, coiling his body tighter around her, and one around her neck, giving it a tiny squeeze. "Are you suuure?"
Daisy was aware that she was now quite helpless, her arms immobile and her throat at the mercy of the serpent, but still she defied him. "Positive. I won't look."
"Alright then, it is your air, misssss"  He slowly wrapped himself around her neck, slowly sqeezing  "Now now, come on, I jussst want to sssee your eyesssss, thossse pretty eyesss, and I want you to ssee mine"
"N-n… chkksh," Daisy's attempt to protest died into a strangled gurgle as she felt the coil constrict. Her eyes snapped open involuntarily, and then she saw it: the yellow eyes that she had feared were now filled with bubbling rings of color. "K-kaa, w… wha?" she managed to choke out.
"Yesss, excccellent" he thought. "Yessss, Daisssy, that'ssss it, look, sssee how pretty, you don't want to look away, do you?"
Daisy mumbled her assent, unable to form words with the coil still restricting her throat, but she found herself agreeing with the serpent. She did not want to look away. Could not. The rings captivated her attention.
Kaa released her neck, now certain that she would comply.  He began swaying his head back and forth, side to side, dizzying her further.
Daisy tried to follow the eyes, but her head merely lolled limply as her strength left her body. A tiny part of her sensed danger, but it was swiftly snuffed out as her mind went blissfully blank.
"That'sss it, embrace the pleassure, let it fill you, let it control you, let me control you," Kaa said as he stroked his tail through her hair side to side, rubbing her head. Pulsing the colors in his eyes, causing them to return. "That'sss it, embrace the pleassure, let it fill you, let it control you, let me control you." Kaa said as he stroked his tail through her hair side to side, rubbing her head. Pulsing the colors in his eyes, starting to reflect them in her eyes. "Ahh" she let out, a small moan barely audible. Kaa put the tip of his tail in front of her face and began to swing it back and forth. She followed it, eyes wide as if it were unlike anything she'd seen before. It was so captivating, so enchanting. He wrapped his body around her, curving himself around her long, thin legs. He pulsated his coils, squeezing lightly and then releasing, alternating. This caused Daisy to let out another small moan. On the inside, she was starting to enjoy this, starting to trust kaa but somewhere, within the deepest and most secluded corner of her mind, a tiny part of her was resisting. "Come now my dear, ssssubmit" Kaa hissed, closing one of his eyes and opening the other wider. This was refected by the swirling of her eyes becoming out of sych, one pulsing faster than the other. From Daisy's perspective, this distorted her image of the world, and while dizzyness usually makes one more suseptb, Daisy's primal instict made that small bit of her inside resist him, and she slowly said. "n...No" and using all the will power she had, she closed one of her eyes. This stopped the rings in Kaa's eyes for a split second out of surprise.
Daisy seized the opportunity with both hands, quite literally. Her mind had recovered quickly now that the colors were gone, and she knew what was happening to her. She grabbed Kaa's coils firmly and managed to wedge herself free, dropping to the ground.
Kaa was not about to let her slip away that easily. He thrust out his tail before her, prompting her to retreat towards the tree. "Keep away from me!" she shouted, all of her tough-girl pretenses abandoned. She knew she could not retreat further, the smooth bark pressing into her back.
Kaa was not letting this one get away.  So he said calmly "But misss Daissy, wern't you happy, weren't you ssoooo relaxed?" He reached his tail out to her slowly, trying to calm her down.
"No!" Daisy said, slapping his tail aside forcibly. "You were hypnotizing me!" Though she knew he was right. She had been relaxed, and… happy, as wrong as she knew that was.
Kaa's tail hit the ground with a soft thump, but he lifted it right back to the tree branches.  "Please now dear, I was doing only what was best for you, I could not let you walk out there alone."  Kaa moved his head just a small bit closer, but not too close.
Daisy shut her eyes tight as the head loomed nearer. "Go away! I'm not going to let you get me again!"
"Pleasssse, I have no intention of harming you, I jussst want to bring you sssomewhere ssafe, it will be dark ssoon, jussst let me carry you there"  Kaa knew she was not going to open her eyes, so he began the rings, waiting till she opened them for a split second.
Daisy did indeed open her eyes, just slightly, though why she could not say. It was part fear and part curiosity all mixed together. Whatever the reason, the first colored ring that slid into her vision snared her mind, enticing her to open her eyes further. So against her will, one eye opened fully, to see the beautiful rings before her.
Kaa knew he had her now.  His plan had worked, she was looking, and now he had one of her eyes captivated. All he had to do was get her to open her other eye.  "You sssee, I just want to relax you, it isss okay, jussst let me help you." Kaa hissed, slowly snaking his tail to around her feet.  Kaa began to sway back and forth, making Daisy's gaze follow him.  He then began to coil his tail around her legs.
As Daisy swayed in synch with the mesmerizing eyes, she felt something cool yet pleasantly rough creeping up her legs. She relaxed further, her resistance ebbing as she began to indulge in the pleasure overcoming her. Why was she only getting half the effect? She still had one eye closed. Feeling stupid, she opened her other eye, letting the colors fill it as well.
"Yessss," Kaa hissed, "doesn't it feel so right?"
"Mmnuh," Daisy moaned, consciousness rapidly slipping as the colors sped through her eyes and into her brain, and as the smooth coils rubbed up her bare skin. The coils twined over her hips, waist, stomach, breasts, and finally towards her neck. His slim tail-tip curled around her neck, then took a firm grip. "Mmgulp!" Daisy gurgled. The colors accelerated in her eyes and her will finally collapsed utterly.
"Kuh huh huh," Kaa chuckled, eyeing his latest catch. He drew her up higher, towards a branch above, uncoiled her, and set her down. She sat on the branch, content, mindless, a vacant stare in her color-filled eyes.
"Sssee?" Kaa asked, "isn't it better to let me help you?"
        "Yesss," Daisy lisped, smiling.
Daisy had come to Dinosaur Land specifically to avoid behaving like a certain perpetual damsel-in-distress, but now she was reduced to a similar role: captive to a fearsome reptile, though at least she was content in her captivity.

End.
This was a collaboration done alongside :iconlord-enonymous: starting in mid-August, off and on through mid October, then abandoned until i finally got the free time to fix it up, and released into the world now

I would like to see Daisy's character get better developed at one point, but character development isn't really Nintendo's strong suit (doesn't stop their games from kicking ass, but still...)

Your stories are getting better and better!

Very good work here. I personally don't go for the asphyxiation element, but I can appreciate a well-done story.

I also enjoyed the amusing reference to Bowser at the end there. :)
