Yes, friends, doom is upon us! People lose their jobs, get new jobs, start looking for crazy opportunities to get the money to move out of our parents' houses...
Ahem. Anyway, the end is indeed coming. I've found myself de-motivated for this sort of work, but more importantly, one way or another, i'm going to make some large-scale life-changes starting next year, and the end of fan-fiction is going to be a part of that.
There are 3 stories that I shall write for this account forthwith.
1) A lighthearted Reina x Elina story (Queen's Blade)
2) A "prequel" to "Ghost Reprogramming" (Ghost in the Shell Arise)
3) A final story.
I have no idea what I would write for said final story. Something that might serve as a fitting tie-in across the last four years? No idea. I will, however, be taking suggestions if anyone cares to provide them.

I could do something really longwinded here, as is my style, or simply leave this and my thanks to those who have interacted with me over the last four years. It was an intersting journey and i've learned a lot. Now it's time to move on (hopefully from fan-fiction entirely, though my latest Zoro x Robin stint on Fanfiction.net is keeping me chained for the moment).

End is Imminent (super serious this time)
I know i've made two journals over something like half a year talking about "the end", but, my friends, it is almost here. My last story has been written, but now i am waiting for something special, a gift to myself and from me to all of you to go with it, and really give the account a good sendoff. (account will stay open, of course. I just won't do any more work).
It's been over four years since i started doing this. It's been a good run. But there's just a bit more waiting (how long it takes is out of my hands at this point, but i hope it will go quickly).
Seriously, end still coming
The idea is still kicking around for my "final project" though i've started grad school and have only barely started the story, while another element still has to come in to play for me to be truly complete, so there's a bit of a delay here, but it's on its way, though it might be slow in coming still <_>
So much writing, so little time
One of my new-year's resolutions for 2013 was to eventually, largely permanently, abandon fan-fiction and move on to original writing, although i suppose that wouldn't stop me from pitching more stories fitting my theme on here. Mainly, i've been trying to think up ideas for original works. I've got a fair few floating around, but all of them are paralyzed by doubt
For one, i want to also enlarge my "12 days of Hypnos" story for day 8: Performance Enhancement. That story was more literary its conception, namely in being "Othello in Space" (also with a pink-skinned space babe). This seems like an easy place to start, because the general idea

I suppose the only suggestion I would have is not a setting or characters, but theme. Rather than focus on exploitation and degradation, as many or most mc stories seem to do, I would love to see a story that's more about trust, openness, relief from anxiety/inhibitions, and emotional connection. Something akin to this:
